how have we responded to this demand?

Sustainability is not just about the fabric, it's the process. Sustainability, transparency, and ethics are what drive us. We believe that sustainability is a conscious action that we should commit to every day. Below are some examples of how we adhere to that in our day to day business.
All second quality goods are upcycled locally. Any second quality goods with spandex are reused by us to create strong bands that will be used for palletizing shipments or securing boxes on a pallet.
Leftover yarn cones from knitting are stored and reused for yarn rewinding and twisting.
Cardboard stackers from yarn shipments are reused by us or recycled locally.
Plastic dividers are stored at our warehouse and recycled locally.
Cardboard boxes are reused by us for leftover yarn or recycled locally.

Yarns

From recycled and organic cotton, to fibers such as Lenzing's Tencel and Modal* and Unifi's Repreve** yarn, sustainability starts from here. How yarns are spun and processed impact the environment, so we carry these yarns as well as finished fabric to help Brands and Manufacturers looking for alternative and sustainable options in their apparel.

Dyeing

All of our knit fabrics are finished here locally in Los Angeles. We use low impact dyes and recycle water to reduce the environmental impact in compliace with California Prop 65.
